About the Event
As fitness professionals who work with athletes every day, we understand the importance of speed, agility, and quickness regarding overall athletic performance. While it is true that each athlete has strengths and weaknesses, every athlete benefits from improvement in speed, agility, and quickness.
Speed – The rate of performance of an activity. If you can do something faster than your opponent in athletics, you will increase your chances of winning.
Agility – The ability to change directions or change the body's position without losing speed. The best athletes effortlessly respond to visual, auditory, and tactile cues and adjust the body's direction or position with minimal to no reduction in the overall speed of execution.
Quickness – The ability to execute a movement in a short amount of time. Athletes who are better able to perform skills in a shorter amount of time have an advantage over their competition.
To achieve overall improvements in athletic performance, developing SAQ is a must.
