About the Event
Like everything else in life, gymnastics skills don't just happen; they take work. Athletes enrolled in the 10 Week Northville Athletix Gymnastics Skills Course will focus on bodyweight strength and foundational gymnastics skill development. Like everything we do, we start with the fundamentals of each more, and we build from there, adding more and more complexity and intensity.
Why is gymnastics so important?
Gymnastics is more than just a pull-up or a pistol. Gymnastics is also a great way to improve strength, power, motor control, stability, balance, and flexibility. It does so in entirely different ways than training with a barbell, and it is those differences that make gymnastics so valuable. Being an athlete requires moving your body in ways that a barbell doesn't. Building a solid core and balance translates into all aspects of life and athletics.
